Gewurztraminer Grand Cru Zinnkoepflé 2016

A wonderful Gewurztraminer coming from the majestic shelly limestone hillsides. The optimal due south exposure, the steep slopes, the reduced yield and a harvest after October 20th, confers it all the qualities of a great wine for keeping (10 years). Its aromas develop in two years and its robe becomes golden yellow with time. It has aromas of exotic fruit that vary each year (lychee, mango, banana), and of rose. It is first a great wine for the aperitif, with foie gras or a dessert. Gold medal in 2005 and 2018 at the world contest “Concours Gewurztraminer du monde”. May be cellared 10 years. To be savored cool, 8°C. 2016 vintage – 75 cl – 12.5°.
